What we do in Macedonia homes

-
Attic insulation. We add blown-in insulation to bring your attic up to the level it needs.
-
Air sealing. We seal the gaps that leak air into the attic, such as wiring boxes, pipe openings and drywall seams, before adding insulation.
-
Injection foam for walls. We insulate finished walls through small holes, without removing drywall or siding.
-
Attic ventilation. We install baffles so air can still move at the roof edge after insulating.
Attic Insulation and Injection Foam Wall Insulation in Macedonia, OH

This Macedonia home got a full insulation upgrade, from the attic down through the exterior walls. In the attic, we removed the old insulation completely so we could see exactly what we were working with. With the floor open, we air sealed the gaps and penetrations with foam. Our crew sealed them by hand before any new insulation went in. We then installed baffles at the eaves so air can keep flowing from the soffits up under the roof deck, and topped the attic off with Owens Corning blown-in fiberglass insulation, bringing it up to R-38.
We also insulated the exterior walls with Applegate R-Foam injection foam. Injection foam is installed through small openings, so the walls can be insulated without tearing out the interior. Removing the old attic insulation first lets us fix air leaks that normally stay hidden under it. Learn more about our attic insulation, air sealing and injection foam wall insulation services.
